The merger/technology systems conversion I've been working on is finally here: we start migration activities in a few hours. It's strange to think that I've been part of this project, off and on, for four years -- more than ten percent of my life (I know, that's a very "Michael Clayton" thing to say).
Part of me is excited to see it finally happen, but I'll be honest: that excitement is tempered by how badly some of the technology stuff has turned out. I'll be working all weekend, but the users won't see anything until Monday morning -- and that is going to be interesting, to say the least.
Keep your fingers crossed for me! :)
