Best BLT Ever

Ingredients:

  • Sourdough bread (preferable "Murphy's Sour" from P.J. Murphy's), lightly toasted
  • Thick-cut apple smoked bacon (at least three slices per sandwich)
  • Hellman's Reduced Fat Mayo
  • Sliced tomatoes, sprinkled with kosher salt and white pepper
  • Sliced ripe avocado
  • "Red Sails" (I swear, at first glance I thought it was "Red Snails" -- pretty unappetizing) and "Black-seeded Simpson" lettuce right from the veranda (which has performed much better than either of the two batches of now-composted spinach seedlings I attempted)

Mmmmm! Suprisingly good for Sunday breakfast on the patio.
