I think somehow in the hubbub surrounding her arrival last year (her delivery was pretty complicated and drawn out over several days), I forgot that the actual day she was born became her birthday.
How dense am I? (That's rhetorical, people.) Oy. OK, so it's now on my Outlook with a great big "ding" set to go off as a reminder, and a gift is in progress.
